Here are the latest launch and spacecraft orders which were announced in September 2025:

Construction Orders

Galaxia has secured a $2.5 million project with Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) to build the Canadian Tactical Operation Satellite (CTOS) in Nova Scotia  Poland is investing two billion Polish zloty (US$548 million) to build six satellites, a ground station and data centre as part of its National Reconstruction Plan. The commitment is in addition to its contributions to the European Union’s IRIS² satellite constellation project. AscendArc sold its first GEO smallsat to KT Sat and has promised to deliver it to the South Korean flagship operator by the second half of 2027. CNES has awarded a €31 million contract to Univity for a space-based 5G connectivity demonstration. ICEYE has signed a €158 million order agreement to supply SAR radar satellites and supporting systems to the Finnish Defence Forces Echostar sold spectrum to SpaceX after cancelling its deal with MDA 

Launch Orders and Bookings

South Korea’s INNOSPACE secured a $5.8 million deal to conduct two HANBIT launch missions for Germany's Media Broadcast Satellite (MBS) Avio and SpaceLaunch have secured a new launch for the Vega C rocket, to put an Earth observation satellite into orbit in the second half of 2027. Space Norway signed a new contract with SpaceX for its latest satellite deployment: THOR 8. The satellite will be launch into a geostationary orbit from a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in 2027 NASA taps Katalyst Space to raise the orbit of NASA’s Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory in spring 2026 The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) has put its faith in Arianespace to conduct two Ariane 6 rocket launches, each carrying a SATCOMBw Stufe 3 satellite Isar Aerospace will launch two of R-Space’s debut GreenBox satellites aboard its Spectrum launch vehicle in 2026 from Andøya Spaceport, with further flights planned for 2026 and 2027 Astra is targeting mid-2026 for liftoff of its Rocket 4 vehicle — fingers crossed for the company's return to the launch market Astroscale's ISSA-J1 (In-situ Space Situational Awareness-Japan 1) mission will be launched on India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in spring 2027 Firefly Aerospace will deliver Canada’s first-ever lunar rover to the Moon’s south pole in 2029 NASA picks Blue Origin to take the VIPER lunar rover to the Moon's South Pole region NASA and Sierra Space have mutually agreed to tweak their Dream Chaser cargo contract to include a free flight demonstration in late 2026 and relieve NASA of its previous obligation to purchase a set number of resupply missions Astranis will piggyback on Impulse Space’s 2027 mission to head straight to GEO Orbital Paradigm secured three customers for a flight aboard its reentry demonstrator capsule and set to launch in late 2025
